SIMS Nigeria Limited, in collaboration with Lagos Business School (LBS), successfully hosted the SIMS Case Study Launch on Thursday, 30th October 2025, at the Lagos Business School, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

The event, themed “Navigating Disruption and Forging Resilience,” brought together business leaders, academics, and professionals to explore how organizations can thrive in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment.

In his welcome remarks, the representative of the Dean of Lagos Business School, Professor Okechukwu Amah, commended SIMS Nigeria Limited for its decades-long commitment to innovation and resilience, describing the case as an exemplary model of strategic adaptation in a dynamic market.

Delivering key insights, Mr. Ik Eyisi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SIMS Nigeria Limited, shared how the company has consistently leveraged innovation, customer focus, and agility to remain competitive despite economic and industry challenges.

The event also featured a panel session moderated by Mr. Chidi Okoro, with distinguished speakers including Mrs. Adesewa Greg-Ighodaro (COO, Homework Group Africa) and Professor Bongo Adi (Faculty, Lagos Business School). Panelists discussed the role of AI in today’s consumer electronics business.

The ceremony concluded with the formal unveiling of the SIMS Case Study, alongside the launch of the 2025 edition of the Insights Edge Business Journal, which explores contemporary business themes shaping Africa’s corporate landscape.
